Large equipment as well as fragile items are best protected using custom crates, which insure that your product will arrive at its destination in good condition. Martin Pallet manufactures custom crates for those shipments that require this kind of extra protection and for international shipments, when standard pallets aren't quite sufficient.

One-Way Crates
Martin Pallet can design a custom crate for use in one-way shipments. These crates must be sturdy enough to protect the product, while staying within the budget set for packaging. The crates can be designed fully assembled or in a knock-down form. All crates are made to be easily assembled and accessible with a forklift or standard hand-jack.

Reusable and Trade Show Crates
Some crates can be reused for a product that is packaged and shipped multiple times. For these situations we use an assembly method that will insure a sound crate that is easily broken down and reassembled with bolts, hinges and screws. All reusable crates are glued before they are screwed together to guarantee a sturdy crate over long periods of time.

Heavy Duty vs. Light Duty
Martin Pallet will work with you to design a crate that is not only dependable but is cost effective. All crates can be made in either a heavy duty style for extremely sensitive machinery or fragile products or a light duty style for products that just need to covered to meet shipping requirements.

Crate Design
Martin Pallet can create a design using your inside or outside dimensions or we can visit your site to measure the product and better understand your needs. Crates can be heat treated to meet ISPM-15 standards for export.
